The Bachelor of Arts / Science (Hons.) Audio Production is a two-year intensive degree programme, which corresponds to a three-year degree in terms of credit points (180 ECTS).
Closely linked to the industry, this highly respected course will prepare you for the constant advances in commercial technology that characterise the sector and create the demand for adaptable and skilled audio professionals.
You’ll learn music production techniques for live and recorded sound and gain a deep understanding of sound theory. You’ll develop mixing and recording skills and prepare audio outputs for different media.

The campus is equipped with custom-built, soundproofed studios along with Mac and PC labs loaded with the latest digital audio workstation applications, including Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic X and Ableton. In our campus and in the external SSL studio you will find industry standard effects processing units, compressors and mixing consoles and post-production studios.

As a creative school, SAE Institute is always looking for people who are excited about the creative media industries and therefore welcomes applicants without formal qualifications. Such candidates will be interviewed and may be required to show a portfolio of their work.
Applicants who hold a qualification from another institution, or who have formally completed components of another qualification, must submit authorised evidence of those achievements at the time of application to SAE Institute.
