The Wordpress - PHP Development / Web Professional is for everyone interested to learn server side programming for web and devices. The course covers areas like PHP, MySQL AJAX and JSON, as well as server configuration and deployment, creation of CMS and themes and plugin development for WordPress


Considering that PHP is one of the most wanted skills on today's job market, the aim of this course is to teach the course participant server side programming and turn him/her into a serious PHP/MySQL developer, capable of creating dynamic websites, working with databases and developing CMS, and generally be able to create any kind of complex database-driven web site or web service for other applications (like mobile), as well as use and modify, develop themes and plugins for one of the most popular CMS's - WordPress.

Vladimir Lelicanin

Vladimir Lelicanin is a full stack developer and media generalist with over 20 years of experience in development and UX design and 5 years in university teaching. His favorite frameworks are Laravel and Angular JS, but he has also years of experience in other frontend and backend technologies like Node JS, jQuery and platforms like Wordpress. He proved himself in the industry in almost all area of digital media. He is also running a successful web development company.

Entry Requirements

Finished Advanced Web Design course. Otherwise, applicant must either provide some official credentials or pass a submission test demonstrating that he has a moderate knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and jQuery. The only other entry requirement is for the participant to be at least 17 years of age upon commencement of the course.

Class size: The Basic Web Design Course is limited to a maximum of 12 participants in order to ensure that each participant has adequate opportunity for discussion with the course leader.
